Description
This Victorian ring features a gorgeous moss agate specimen with a beveled edge set in an intricately carved foliate setting.
HISTORY
Formed from weathered volcanic rocks, moss agate contains other metals (usually manganese or iron) which create beautiful, moss-like inclusions within the stone. Each has a completely unique pattern, and this stone's is particularly unusual, with a ghost-like filament down its center. Worshiped historically as the stone of gardeners and horticulturists, it is believed to promote abundance, both with regards to spiritual and physical growth.
