Description
A highly collectible shield-shaped Edwardian date ring is enhanced with a beautiful chased floral pattern to one shoulder and a single sapphire.
HISTORY
Likely intended originally to celebrate a graduation, these rings were also used for other forms of celebration - to commemorate a birth, wedding or other special event. They're becoming harder and harder to find these days, and this one, which features a sapphire (likely the wearer's birthstone) is a particularly lovely example.
Perfect to remember a beloved ancestor or anniversary, or just because!
